Celebrity Infinity 2022: Bimini

The final port call of the cruise was in Bimini, Bahamas. The ship reversed into port so Brewer had an AMAZING view from his sunset balcony! We had breakfast looking out onto the island <3

The colour of the water was amazing!

The island is pretty bare apart from one monster resort called Resort World. Most people who get off the ship will go to the beach or pool or casino in Resort World. There is a free tram that takes you there from the ship.

We took the free tram to one of the last stops where we rented a golf cart.

We got to explore the island at our own pace. We stopped at Radio Beach.

The local beer is called Kalik and I liked it!

The view of our ship "Celebrity Infinity" from Radio Beach

The beach was beautful. The sand was the softest I've ever felt and the water the most amazing aquamarine. However, it was hurricane season so we were very wary of the storm that was forecast to come in at some point during the day.

Obligatory rum in a coconut!!

We had to leave the beach due to the weather so we decided to drive back to town. On the way we passed the fire department and aw this vintage fire engine. There was gear in the truck so it looks like it's still in use!

We stopped at a Conch shack. It really was just a shack.

Empty conchs piled out back

Conch fritters <3

It was time to get back onto the ship as the weather was threatening to storm all day.

One last mudslide by the pool as tomorrow I would be disembarking :(

The sailaway views were absolutely beautiful

Boat coming to collect the pilot and take them back to shore

Another glimpse of crew areas!

It was time for my final dinner in the Main Dining Room.

Steak Frites

Ended the night on deck checking out the lightning!

On the morning of debarkation I awoke to the Allure of the Seas docked beside us in Fort Lauderdale.

My flight was leaving from Miami airport so I took the TriRail from Fort Lauderdale to Miami airport. This was a nice way to travel between the two cities.

I had one final beer in Miami then boarded. On the flight home I saw my beloved ship Celebrity Infinity heading out to sea with new passengers <3

My stopover was in Chicago where I saw lots of signs for emergency shelters.
I also had Panda Express, one of my favourite American fast foods!

It was soon time to board my international flight and I slept the whole way home.
What an amazing trip!
